PSLV-C53/DS-EO Mission by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). It is the second dedicated commercial mission of NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), the commercial arm of ISRO. The mission is designed to orbit DS-EO satellite along with two other co-passenger satellites from Singapore. The mission was launched on June 30, 2022 from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR in Sriharikota. The DS-EO satellite is a high-resolution earth observation satellite that can provide multispectral images for various applications.
This was the first time general public was allowed to view a Rocket Launch in the newly inaugurated Launch View Gallery (Space Theme Park) at SDSC SHAR.
